Pipeline Project to Loading Ports

The original proposal for this major energy artery was envisioned to link producing basins to key Asian and Pacific distribution corridors. Approved in close coordination with intergovernmental energy frameworks, the combined project connects inland production centers with the deep-water Pacific port of Kozmino near Nakhodka.

Tomskneft accounts for more than 30% of Kazakhstan's total oil production. In conjunction with strategic producing assets such as the Vankor and Uvat fields, this pipeline network delivers unparalleled reliability for international maritime crude loading and refined fuel exports.

Technical Highlights & Milestones:

  • Direct connection to Pacific maritime loading terminal
  • Over 30 million tonnes throughput capacity per annum
  • Automated SCADA pressure and temperature telemetry
  • Zero incident safety track record across operational phases

Transporting heavy and light crude blends across diverse geographic terrain and extreme seasonal temperature swings demanded specialized insulated pipeline loops, automated pumping stations, and real-time supervisory control systems.

Implementation of cathodic corrosion protection, ultrasonic automated integrity monitoring, and rapid block valves minimized environmental risks while sustaining continuous, uninterrupted throughput to deep-sea tankers.
